Chelsea Music Festival: 400 years of music from Italy and Britain.
Highlights include a Corelli Concerto Grosso, an oboe concerto by Corelli's great admirer Giovanni Platti,
Elizabethan madrigals with the ensemble amarcord, and "Variations on an Elizabethan Theme" for string orchestra
that features arrangements by six leading British composers of the 20th century, including Benjamin Britten.
The evening includes an exhibit by Italian photographer Maurizio Galimberti and a Italian-themed reception.
