The fifth-floor conference room offers NEW hi-def video conferencing with a Polycom system on 50-inch plasma display; system can reach three remote locations, can send content via any video signal output, and can record to a DVD. The room also has a retractable movie screen; light-blocking shades over windows looking east, south, and west; and a spacious anteroom for coffee breaks. Capacity: 65; dimensions: 36' x 17'.

The Italian Academy building ("Casa Italiana") is a neo-Renaissance-style palazzo built in 1927 and renovated in 1993 by renowned architects Italo Rota and Samuel G. White, great-grandson of Stanford White, of McKim Mead & White, the original architects of the building.

Rental fees vary depending on the event's relevance to the Mission of the Italian Academy. All rental fees permit four hours of use. Additional fees will be negotiated for required security guard, house manager, and clean-up.
